Visiting the island is a multi-sensory experience you won’t soon forget. Let yourself be surrounded by the vivid colors and scents of the Mediterranean flora. Enjoy the gentle sea breezes, crystal clear waters, beaches, quiet coves and the impressive coastal rock formations that are the geological expression of the island’s long history – dating back to the Etruscans and Romans, with the area of Rio Marina being one of Elba’s richest archeological sites.
At Rio Marina you will find the best of what this beautiful island has to offer: a stunning natural setting, nautical and beach sports, history, culture, and fine local cuisine.
Our modern one-bedroom, one bathroom apartment is located in a recently refurbished residential complex, walking distance to the beach and to town, where you will find a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The apartment can sleep 4-6 people. There are a queen-sized bed and bunk beds in the bedroom, while the living room offers a sofa bed for 2 people. Amenities include: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area. Private parking in the garage is available if you choose to visit with your car. Otherwise, you can arrive in Rio Marina by direct ferry from Piombino which can be reached from most of Tuscany by train, making travel to and from the art cities and international airports (Florence, Pisa) possible without a car.
To make your vacation even more enjoyable, in the island it is possible arrange any services or activities you might need during your stay, including bicycle rentals, hiking excursions, and fishing expeditions.
